Prayer Shawl for an "Angel"

This shawl came from yarn originally meant for another purpose.  However the yarn decided it would be better served in this way.  The double stranding of yarns throughout makes for a very "cushy" fabric.  It's almost akin to the squish one finds when lying down on an extra fluffy pillow!  It feels very much like a miniature bear hug as well.  The purple and green are variegated across different shades giving a lovely rippling affect to this shawl.  There is also a spiritual reference in the choice of color, purple is typically associated with the Divine and green the earth.  Perfect for someone wanting to connect with those energies.  It's grounding and soothing and sure to be a joy to the recipient!
